Computer Repair

Sianz... mayb sending my laptop for repair later, if i manage to get a lift from my fren to town. Two months onli, must see doctor liao.

I'm not sure wat's wrong. It was still working alright last week, still happily, joyfully, gracefully enjoying my DVDs. Then suddenly cannot work when i tried to play David Tao's latest album on saturday. At first i thot it's the disc spoil. So i tried all my other discs oso... none worked!!! pissed... pissed... pissed... PISSED!!!

Hope it wont take too long to get repaired.

The 'BIG' Day

Oh yeah... it's finally over... the torment that i've suffered for the past few days has finally come to an end. Luv it, hmmm... shld call for a celebration. Shooters tonight sounds like a good idea.

Sigh... had a couple of hicccups during the parade actually... too late at coming to sedia from hormat senjata, behenti b4 every1 else... sigh... wat a flop. Dono wat i was dreaming about oso. Heck it, it's over now. There wont be a second time, I guarantee, plus chop, wif my 9yrs of drill experience! Shit... shldnt haf said that... malu myself onli.

Forget it, perk-of-the-day: I've got visitors today! How often do i get visitor? Nil... tis is the first time alright. How wonderful is tat. A few of my mate from NEOC 31 came and see me 'graduate' (from my FIFTH initial trg in two yrs... gosh). There was Chelsea, Clare and her cousin, Re, Gooch, Jess and Pedro... how nice of them to haf driven from sydney and albatross to attend the parade. We had a wonderful time chattin over lunch at a italian restaurant in civic. Thanks ppl, reali appreciate the effort. Catch ya again. As for ppl hu aint there, be there next time.

There's sth more than just drills and drills

Yesterday, had dinner in the mess wif 6 out of the 13 singaporean and had my first majong game wif them in one of their room after that... shh... gambling isnt legal here. It was a bit of fun and hilarious. The room wasnt reali big, and definitely not an ideal place for majong, hot and stuffy too. But heck, one of the seniors here have got itchy hands since monday liao... so no choice but to make do wif it.

It was a fun night... and kinda interesting to see how easliy we manage to switch to using 'la', 'loh'... the familiar and unique language. The game ended wif just one big winner... i lost 2 bucks, heng ar...

Large hawaiian pizza for 5 bucks

Pizza for dinner tonight again. It's the cheapest, delicious, and best alternative, whenever (we) get sick of the food in the cadet mess... or simply when we get too lazy to move or change into uniform and march to the mess. We get the pizza delivered to us, and can relak, watch TV at the same time, tok cock...

Tried laksa and fried rice and lemon chicken b4... but asian food here are simply too expensive for poor me to afford. Laksa alone cost me A$13... and i could easily buy 6 plates of chicken rice in spore wif the price of jus 1 fried rice wif lemon chicken.

New Police Story

A great way to spend the night watching 'New Police Story 2005', esp after a long day of drills... wonderful movie. Although tis time round there wasnt as much action from jackie, and charlie young & jackie doesnt seem to go well together... but anyway, on the overall, the movie was still as good as the other police stories... luv it.



All thanx to my DO hu lend me the DVD tis morning. He happen to be a AHM (Aussie-hong-kongie mix), doesnt realli speak mandarin, but can comprehend a little cantonese... and best of all he likes to watch chinese movies. All together there are 12 DVDs in the folder he lend me... got Hero, Twin Effect 1 & 2, even got Kung Fu Hustle! Though i've watched it liao... but i wont mine watching the comedy 3 more times. I'm in luck.

So, i'm kinda restricted, by the aussie law, as to wat i post up here. Well, i'm not the bitchy sort (am i? I guess the onli -ve comment i've made so far is about the summer rig... tat's onli one so far), so i wasnt reali concerned by the rule.

Heard lotsa stories from ppl about a discussion that's goin' in s'pore. Hmm... I tink i should put further restrictions (on myself) to prevent further discussion.

YOFT Challenge

Damn tired now. Cant wait to hop onto the bed and start snoring away.

Today's is the end of Year One Familiarisation Trg. And to mark tis 'wonderful' day, we had a YOFT Challenge... basically, lotsa running up hill and down hill, land and water obstacle courses, crawlin on four limbs, rowing, pushups, beep test, chin ups, drills, rifle asembling and stripping, shooting... all in a day... kaoz... Now my arms and tighs... every single strend of my muscles are sore... Belive me, i seriously hate running!!! Why? why no one beliv!!!

One more week to start of academic. Parade trg for the whole of next week, in preparation for the CDF parade next saturday... argh... not parade trg again. How encouraging is tis? 'left right left'... 'check check check'... i'm sure there's sth better for the week. Hmm... going on a piss somewhere in the middle of the week may not b a bad idea.

Call me a freak if u wan... Reali cant wait for school to start.
