living

somep pl may call this arrogance.

i prefer to say i'm 知足.

i strongly believe that i can make it big, real big, if i wanted to. but the fact is i wont. i'm happy with the way things are gg at this moment...(relatively) quiet, easy and carefree. it is true i may grunt a little at some imperfections in my life every now and then. well, who doesnt. grunting actually makes life more interesting. furthermore, big-life doesnt guarantee perferction. i will be slogging like a dog. wait... no, in fact, i foresee a life less than a stray dog (maybe not one in sgp, cos it wld be put to sleep).

buddha's leg

does last-minute cramming actaully work for everyone?

i was never disciplined enough to start early and study for exam. even if i did start early, my sub-concious self will some how make sure that i finish my first round of revision just before the exam.

i had one and half day to mug for my next exam on friday. this is more than enough time for revision and practise and then maybe another round of revision. well... seems like a good plan. now, the half-day has just past, but i have yet to finish one tenth of the course. instead i watched a movie (click), went out for dinner, facebooked and now, blogging. procrastination seems second nature to me.

i dont really know if i should be proud to say this: i have never done past-year papers. yes... i do read thru them sometime, but that's mostly other ppl's work. i never really have the time to start doing it myself.

what the hell am i driving at... alright, simply put it: i'm lazy.

during every exam period, my favourite pastime is cross fingers and hoping to catch the buddha's leg in time.

i so hate myself

blood boils

i almost vomitted blood just then when i uncovered my doona and saw the vacuum cleanner lying on my bed. what the hell is wrong with these ang mohs... do they know such thing called personal hygiene.

when i first arrived in aust, i was rather uncomfortable about the idea of wearing shoes into houses, especially bedrooms. fyi, most of these places are carpeted. not just those small size rugs but big carpet that cover the whole floor like what you would find in hotel. imagaine walking onto the carpet with dirty shoes in your own home... yucks.

i have 'lived on carpet' for the past three years and all i can do to keep it clean is vacuum, even if i spill coffee... yucks x2. there is such thing called carpet cleaning service but that is only done once a year. too bad if you spill shit the day after the service. you can either wait for another 364 days or show off that you are rich.

during my times here, i have seen ppl sleep with their shoes on, and sometimes boots too! if this is not enough, there are actually ppl who lay their shoes out on their bed when cleaning the wardrobe. no... this is not a typing error, we keep our shoes in our wardrobe here.

there is more... but i'm not in the mood to say more. at the moment, my blood is boiling cos one of my neighbour decided to tuck the vacuum cleaner in my bed. he thinks this is a joke.
