Dilemma

Tired after a morning of soccer with frens from Australia National University, mostly indians, two chinese.

4 blisters and 3 small cuts altogether after the game... ouch, reali sore feet...

Anyway, reali got to do some work today liao. I have been procrastintating the whole of yesterday. Basically i did nothing but watching movies, downloaded from the ADFA network, for the whole afternoon and night.

Or should i catch some sleep first? ... kinda tired now.

Saturday, 16 April 2005

Sigh... 1 assignment and 3 tests due next week. Gotta find a way to stop myself from procrastinating any further.

Friday, 15 April 2005

ok... i just wasted 10 minutes.

Early Bird Catches the Worm

I was super tired last night and decided i should go to bed after an episode of 《我和僵死有个约会3》 and wake up early next morning to study for a physics test. And so i was soundly asleep by 9 pm.

It's now 5am. Here's an hour for me to mug before roll-call.

Don waste it.

是福还是祸, 是祸躲不过

i think i'm gonna tio bei pio very soon...

tis morning on my first step out from the shelter (heading for my first class), bird shit 从天而降, exactly onto my white peak cap, spot on! There were 3 shots altogether, but none hit me, just my peak cap. Very obvious, it's a job of a 'marksbird'... precisely done.

How lucky/unlucky (?) can i get for the start of the day...

回光返照?

Another warm (and very dry) day... warm enough for me to walk around my accommodation block half-naked.

I prefer my top naked.

Illegal void-deck soccer... breakin into school field, DHS, bedok view, etc on weekends. haha... got one time kena caught by bedok-view OM, hu lived just opposite the school, for trespassing...

Easter Break @ Batesman Bay 2005

i noe this is has become 陈年往事 already... but anyway, since that i'm free now. Here's just a little insight into wat's going on last last weekend, during Easter break.

Thursday after school, we departed for batesman bay in 3 pretty posh cars that we rented... one Ford Falcon, one ford XR-6, and i was in a Nissan Maxima. ^_^ it was indeed a very comfy 2-hrs ride...

Come to think of it, it's kinda amazing how the 14 of us managed to find quite a lot of entertainment over the weekend... Anyway, the thirteen of us plus one more singaporean guy from Australian National University, all males, 'mass-orgied' in this two-storey-and-4-bedrooms chalet for the next 3days...

Early each morning, swimming and 'sight-seeing' and beach soccer at the beach. After lunch, winning-11 and 麻将 and DVDs. And then after dinner, 'ban luck', poker, some cards games called 'in-between'... etc... Some hard-core ones had 通宵麻将, winning-11 and again movies... and some even more hard-core ones had beer in hand every where they go.

all meals were taken care of by our full-time cook, chris, a third year student. The picture above shows chicken rice and 油菜 for dinner. he actually has not cook these b4. He just copied the recepi from internet and we were his guinea pigs... but fortunately, no one 'lao sai' the next day.

we had lotsa fun together over the holidays, and it had given us an opportunity to noe each other better: hu is a bad drinker, hu is 烂赌鬼, hu is 老千, hu can cook, hu is filthy rich... haha...

That's Us! ‘一群臭男人’
(from left to right)
Benedict, Gabriel, Desmond, Chris, Yuwei, TJ, Yongqiang, Oliver, Me, Harmeek, Zhiming, Kelvin & Kenny (missing Ah Lai)

i wont be surprise if u find some of them familiar... they are all from various JCs: T, V, AC, HC... u name it we have it. ok, not reali all of them...

Blistered feet and sore legs after an hour plus of endurance marchin' up Mt Ainslie this morning...

Nothing is gonna move my ass away from this seat for any more running this week.

Signs Reading

waking up everyday at 6am, feeling colder each day... tis is not a good sign...

doing drills on everi unfriendly mornings of tues and thurs at 650 and sometimes with onli 100 metre of visibility, all thanx to the morning mist... tis is dangerous...

still no fats beneath my skin... this is catastrophic...

Ladies and gentlemen, we've just reached mid-autumn. Winter has yet to come and i'm freezing my arse off. OMG... some1 pls help. I reali detest the feeling of frost biten hands, numb nose, icy ears, involuntary shivers... and goose pimples...

i haf a heater in my room. but some mother's son decide to set a rule saying tat the main switch for it wont b switched on till the real winter has come. whoever he is, he's such a dick head...

=======

not sure if u guys got the news about the aussie heli tragedy... it's a kinda big hu-ha here. Kinda sad... some of the deceased are actually my DO's classmates during their times in ADFA...

Sea King Crashes In Indonesia

A Sea King helicopter crashed on the island of Nias in Indonesia.

Nine Australian Defence Force personnel, seven men and two women, died when their Sea King helicopter crashed near a village on the Indonesian island of Nias.

The chopper was carrying a medical relief team from HMAS Kanimbla to help the victims of last week's earthquake.

Two men survived the accident and are being treated for fractures on HMAS Kanimbla.

The bodies of those killed will be transferred to the city of Sibolga on the west coast of Sumatra before being flown back to Richmond Air Base near Sydney.

An investigation into the cause of the crash will examine whether the crew had been over-worked in the weeks before the accident.

Families and colleagues of the nine Australian Defence Force personnel killed in a helicopter crash in Indonesia on the weekend have paid tribute to the servicemen and women.
