It has been 2 years since i last sat for a major exam. and i was actually feeling kinda kan-cheong minutes before the physics paper yesterday... haha... i thot i had 'butterfly in my stomach'. but luckily all went well in the end. The onli problem was the temperature. I thot the examination hall will be air-conditioned to a comfortable temperature. Well, i obviously forgot that their definition of 'comfortable temperature' and mine defers greatly. So for the duration of the paper, i sat on my left hand. From time to time when i was not writing, i wld pop my right hand under my tighs as well to catch some warmth...
4 more papers to go... and i must remember to bring my gloves...
Life has been pretty easy with my studies. Without much effort, we (the singaporean) will pass easily. How much we study actually depends on how well we wanna do. This is true for this semester and the next as most of the stuffs which i'm doing now are mainly A level work with a bit more depth.
This first year of uni is like a 'moderation year'. The people we have here came from different parts of australia, and unlike singapore, aust doesnt haf a standardised A-level equivalent testing system at their grade 12 (our JC 2). Different states will have their own uni-qualification paper and the standard varies. As such, some ppl will do very well in this uni; other will be struggling just to keep up. To accomodate for this 'diversity' and bring everyone to the same standard (ideal case), we had this 'moderation year' and the results for this entire year will not b taken into consideration for honours. Honours will depends on subsequent years' work. So basically, we can relak and enjoy (while we can) for the whole of this year...
I'm enjoying myself. i actually find myself sleeping more than usual... and oso, there wasnt as much swearing and cursing on the '树' and 前人 such as Bohr, Newton and Planck, during this exam period. 算他们走运吧... let them RIP for one more sem.
i'm now in the library, trying to study for tomorrow's paper. I've done some this morning and i think it's more than enough. It's a OPEN-BOOK paper tmr, and with a 武林秘籍 tat has been pass down for generations in hand, hw much more should i be doing to pass the paper?
