头七

Seven days into my driving. I reckon i'll soon be able to take on the highway.

Driving in canberra is a diiferent story from singapore.

In singapore, 3 words summarise it all: "Who Dares Win".

Canberra drivers are more pilote (i'm not sure about the other states. my mates reckon they differ from state to state). Probably bcos it's the capital city, the drivers here are apparently more patient, especially to those holding their Learners.

The only thing that make driving hard here is most likely the roundabout. Canberra is a state of roundabouts. For some reasons, the city planners dont seem to like traffic light. Roundabouts are everywhere. Below is a portion of the ACT. Notice the number of roundabouts, big and small.

Within the academy itself, there's already 2. On my way to the nearest town, i wld have gone through 4. Even the new Parliament House (situated on top of capital hill) is enclosed by 2 huge roundabouts.

sigh... at the end of the day, the most shiong one is still my pocket. For only seven days, i've already consumed 30 bucks worth of petrol.
